lazy thursday morning

current song: "animal"- far east movement

i've been feeling so lazy nowadays. maybe it's because finals are finally over.. and i don't really have much to do.. but i still feel so unproductive..

but i guess i have a right to be a couch potato until school starts again in 2 weeks.. i'm actually looking forward to school. mainly because i miss a lot of people that were gone for the summer. :( and actually seeing a busy campus might be relieving for once. i hate tech during the summer. it's so desolate and quiet.. even more depressing than usual, lol.

so, me and jin went to humane society the other day... to look at the dogs. OMG, they're so FREAKIN' CUTE. i wanted to take ALL of them home. but sadly, i don't have enough room, time, or money for that. it's so sad to see them in cages though. they looked so trapped. there was this one dog i saw.. it was so small and weak. it was shivering and yelping at me. so i went over and pet it, which i think it liked, because it stopped making noises. T-T we saw a lot of adorable puppies.. but all of them were like either a retriever, labrador, or sheperd mix.. so yeah, even though they were so small and cute, i knew they were going to grow up to be huuuuuge.. and i know that i can't take care of a big dog. :/

we even got to hold one dog. after i filled out the papers and stuff, the guy was like, "okay, which one do you guys want to hold?"... and jin goes up to this basset hound (that was recently neutered!) and says, "i want to hold the most depressed looking dog... this one." LOL. that's my boyfriend..

even before going to humane society, i told jin it was a good idea to get a dog from there because most of their dogs are already neutered and have had most of their shots.. and he goes, "do they have to be neutered? i don't want to take away their manhood.. it's sad." -__________- kobe (yes, i even picked out a nameeee-- in case we ever get a dog) is going to be neutered, jin. end of that. i don't want him to become a baby's daddy. no sir.

we went to go look at cats too.. (the cats' room smells sooooo much better than the dogs' room BTW.. omg.) and i didn't expect it, but THEY WERE SO DARN CUTE TOO. we got to hold kittens... and jin was so tempted to adopt this gray one with green eyes. i admit... they were pretty adorable. and i could feel my mind changing, "oh, a cat wouldn't be too bad. it's so cute and fluffy. and they're cheaper to adopt to....." ... but i eventually stood my ground. i want a dog, not a cat........ but why do they have to be soooooooooo effing adorable???? :O

i had so much fun going there.. i think i'm going to go again soon, so i can check out the dogs again. all the animals get adopted fast, so new pets come in weekly. i'm excited. :)
